Great location and lovely amenities
I truly enjoyed my stay, especially the fantastic spa facilities and the beautiful canal-side setting. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive, making me feel welcome throughout my visit. Location next to the canal provides a scenic view and easy access for exploring. The spa features a well-maintained pool and sauna that offered a refreshing retreat after a long day.
The room felt outdated, especially with the shower's temperature control reminiscent of the '80s. Noise from the bar below seeped into the room, making it tricky to enjoy quiet moments, particularly for light sleepers. Parking incurred an additional charge, and the lack of soundproofing between rooms left little privacy, which can be annoying. the hotel has potential, but the issues kept it from being truly memorable.

Couple's getaway done right
I had a great stay at this hotel. The breakfast was a highlight, buffet style with fresh options coming out regularly, no waiting for food, which is so important when you're on the go. Plus, the staff was really friendly, always ready to help and made our trip feel special. Also, I enjoyed the pool area, it was clean and well-maintained, a nice place to chill after a long day.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but for what we got it still felt acceptable.

We had a lovely stay with our two babies, enjoying the spacious family room and the relaxing spa facilities. The staff went above and beyond to help us, especially during breakfast when they made sure we had what we needed. A great location too!
My wife says that the noise from outside made it hard for the babies to sleep. It would be great if they offered quieter rooms for families traveling with young children.

missingWrote a review on 16 Julspa facilitiesbreakfast varietydated decor
The spa facilities offer a full range of relaxing treatments, complemented by a great pool area perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The breakfast spread stands out with an array of choices, including a made-to-order section that caters nicely to different tastes.
Room decor feels dated, with signs of wear like chipped paint and peeling wallpaper contributing to a slightly neglected feel. During my stay, I encountered issues like inconsistent heating, making the room uncomfortably warm without air conditioning or fans. The proximity to the stairs meant noise was a common interruption, especially at night. Getting around the hotel can be cumbersome due to the long walks to rooms, with no assistance offered for luggage management. While it’s situated conveniently near the city center, the lack of adequate parking solutions without extra fees was less than ideal.
